FUNKtastic Scents was created by Maisha Mitchell who turned her hobby into a business. She has spent over a year perfecting her recipe for releasing the FUNK in people's homes, schools and/or workplace. FUNKtastic Scents is the seed that has been planted to produce greater things Maisha has to offer to the world. Her dream is to open a young women's mentoring program making entrepreneurship and financial stability one of the main components.

Each candle is handmade with only three ingredients: soy wax, dye and fragrances. The scents are all customarily picked which makes this brand is unique a.k.a FUNKY. The line features Sweet/Fruity, Aromatherapy, and Clean/Fresh scents. The candles are sold in tins, apothecary jars, votives and melts. FUNKtastic Scents also accepts custom orders which allows customers to pick the color of the wax, ribbons for decorating product and the type of glassware.
